Organisation
Our client is making a number of progressive changes which draw heavily on the expertise of its change management and leadership development teams.
Challenges
The successful candidate will support Change and OD initiatives as well as delivering leadership and other L&D services. This is a “hands on role”.
e.g. The person will be expected to facilitate interventions themselves in contrast to hiring external consultants to do it.
They will:
- Consult with Change & OD team to identify how learning interventions can support change
- Design and facilitate both senior and other leadership interventions
- Deliver the full range of L&D services as required: Brief, design, facilitation & assessment
Requirements
The successful applicant will demonstrate well developed leadership facilitation skills.
They will also have enough OD experience to support the OD manager with L&D interventions.
The person needs to be flexible in this fast changing environment and be thus needs standard L&D competence such as:
- Needs analysis
- Instructional design
- Facilitation
- Project management
- Management of external consultants
They will also need well-developed interpersonal skills, a “can do” approach and emotional intelligence.
Rewards
The organisation is developing its own internal capacity to manage change. Consequently most of the team members are new. This is an ideal time to start with a terrific group of people.
The role would suit someone who wants a lifestyle that incorporates professional L&D challenges as well as the benefits of living in a country seaside setting.
The office is conveniently close to the railway station.
The remuneration package is around $84K. Fringe benefits include subsidised gym membership.
We are doing a number of assignments with the team and find them terrific to work with because:
- They are really nice people – friendly, respectful and transparent
- Most professional – clear briefs, decisive, high standards
- Emotionally intelligent – at ease with self, comfortable to address points of difference un-emotively
- Meaningful challenges
- Fast moving
